Guidelines for Preparation of Manuscripts for Book of Proceedings
- Manuscripts should be a maximum of 8 pages, font size 12, Times New Roman, and double line space.
- Manuscripts should include: title, authors’ information, abstract, keywords, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusion, acknowledgements, and references.
- Abstract should be no more than 250 words. The use of graphical abstract (table of content image) is encouraged.
- Keywords – Please include at least 3 and up to a maximum of 5 keywords below the abstract.
- It must be clearly written in standard English language. Abbreviations should be used only when necessary and must be defined at their first mention. SI units should be used throughout and chemical structures should be drawn using software like CHEMDRAW.
- All illustrations (figures, tables, plates, schemes, equations) should be numbered consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text. If possible, they should be placed next to the relevant text in the article. Figures, tables, plates, and schemes must have a caption which should be brief and informative and should include all copyright information if taken from a published source.
- References should be written using the American Chemical Society (ACS) 3rd edition.
- Deadline for submission is 30th September, 2024.
- Manuscript should be saved using the area of the paper and the name of the principal author. For example, Organic_TOlaniyi; Analytical_AEzechukwu; Inorganic_BAbdullahi, etc.
- All manuscripts must be submitted online.
- All manuscripts will be subjected to plagiarism checks and only manuscripts with a similarity index of 30% and below will be accepted.
- The processing and publication charge is N20,000.00.
